SoftHat Games makes small, calm games you play with your hands.

Our first game is Handbuilt, about building a real house, one careful step at a time. We make games the way we would like to play them: unhurried, tactile and kind to the person holding the controller.

The hat

A builder's hard hat is orange so that everyone can see it. Ours is knitted, because we like things that are soft and made by hand. The two together are the studio: serious about the work, gentle about how it feels.
